Hey!
Thought I should share my new set up on my Mac Book Pro. I just formatted and installed Snow Leopard which was badly needed because of my unorganized way of storing things, as well as amounts of invisible junk causing headaches all the time. I must add, IF you still sit on Leopard (like I have for a long time), do the upgrade. It’s a lot of sweet functions that help you with a good work flow!
You should definitely check out CS5. Spendt a few hours last night browsing through a few tutorials and watched some videos. Mostly in illustrator, and the new features is AWESOME! specially the “perspective tool”, “shape builder tool” and the “Draw inside” function.. Worth checking out.

My custom desktops and docks in two different spaces..
And finally, I have done some customizing with my osX looks and functions. I know a lot of you feel that customizing icons, dock and even wallpaper is tacky, but then I ask my self what is more tacky then the ugly “web 2.0″ glossy look osX comes with, contrary to making it look more classy or personalized. I have also installed two nifty free apps; Dock Spaces and Hyperspaces witch makes it possible to create different kinds of spaces for different kinds of work flows or tasks, with custom docks. I made one “Default space” witch handles the every day surfing, music browsing and so on. And one “Visual Editing space” where I have all the Adobe programs and stuff..
I have used the day to try it out and test how it works to optimize the work flow. And I must say that I am greatly satisfied. So satisfied that I took the time to write about it and share it with you!
It’s very easy to switch spaces; “cmd + directional arrows”. Try it!
Experimenting
I want to try doing this with movement and tracking to give it more life.. maybe this summer? IF i get time and motivation..
